Frequency 7 is, first and foremost, an original band. While we play covers at bars, breweries, and restaurants to keep the live music scene alive, our passion has always been writing and performing our own music. Inspired by 90s alternative rock and grunge, the songs below represent the core of who we are. We currently have one album recorded, with a second already in the works.
About the Band
Daniel — Lead Vocals & Guitar
Originally from Seattle, Daniel grew up in the middle of the grunge explosion that shaped the sound of Frequency 7. When he’s not fronting the band, he runs a jiu jitsu business, hangs with his Rottweiler “Joker,” and spends way too much time obsessing over Orange amps and killer guitars.
Russ — Drums
Off stage, Florida native Russ works as an airline mechanic, helping keep commercial jets in the air. He brings that same precision and intensity to the drum kit for Frequency 7. A family man and father, Russ provides the backbone and driving force behind the band’s live sound.
Eric — Bass
Eric got his start in the Tampa music scene back in 1992 playing in the local ska band Hopscotch. Outside of Frequency 7, he works as a ghostwriter and podcast producer — but live music and the energy of the stage have always been part of his DNA.
